q陶瓷气体放电管，简称GDT，是防雷保护设备中应用相当多的开关器件，浪涌电流大，可达1KA-150KA，绝缘电阻极高，无漏流，无老化失效，无极性双向保护，静态电容极小，击穿电压分散性较大。多用在通讯线路、通讯配线架的保安单元及高频电路中作防雷保护。
GDT的选用技巧：
1. GDT的DC Spark-over Voltage应高出被保护电路30%以上的相当大直流或连续工作电压、电路的额定标准电压和“高端”容限。
2.GDT的Ipp应大于电路瞬态浪涌电流。
