    UL是美国保险商试验所(Underwriter Laboratories Inc.)的简写。UL安全试验所是美国最有权威的,也是世界上从事安全试验和鉴定的较大的民间机构。UL 认证在美国属于非强制性认证,但美国法律法规对产品质量有着严格要求,所以美国采购商通常会强烈要求产品通过UL认证再进入美国市场。

    Scope

    1.1 These requirements cover batteries for use as energy storage for stationary applications such as for PV, wind turbine storage or for UPS, etc. applications. -- 1.2 These requirements also cover light electric rail (LER) applications and stationary rail applications such as rail substations. These batteries are intended for installation within either the rail car or within a sheltered stationary location such as a rail substation. These batteries may utilize regenerative braking from the trains as a source of energy for recharging and are intended for direct connection to the rail power lines. These devices are intended for balancing loads during peak hours, serving as an energy storage device during regenerative breaking of the trains, and as a source of emergency power to move trains to the nearest station during power outages. -- 1.3 This outline of investigation evaluates the battery's ability to safely withstand simulated abuse conditions. This outline of investigation evaluates the battery based upon the manufacturer's specified charge and discharge parameters. -- 1.4 This outline of investigation does not evaluate the performance or reliability of these devices. -- 1.5 Figure 1.1 is a block diagram of an example battery system for this application. The products covered under the scope of this outline of investigation may include cells, cell modules, and battery packs and systems for LER or stationary applications.

    认证周期

    通常情况下认证周期为 10-16 周(包含 BMS 功能安全评估)。

     

    样品需求

    电池包 8 个左右( 对于大型储能电池,考虑到样品成本,允许在同一个样品

    上做多个测试,则所需电池系统至少 1 个,电池模组 3 个, 但需提供适量的

    Fuse 和继电器) ;

    电芯 6 个(如果已经有 UL1642 认证)或者 26 个(如果之前没有 UL 认证) ;

    BMS 管理系统 6 个左右。

     

    所需资料

    电芯、电池组规格书、产品内外照片、电路原理图、关键零部件清单、爆炸图等。

     

    零部件要求

    关键零部件,包括塑料件、继电器,fuse,线缆,接插件等,基本都需要UL认证,金属件,普通电子芯片等不需要UL认证。

     

    测试:内部火烧为高危项。

     

    UL1973认证过程复杂,需要整理繁杂琐细的专业资料。企业若有精力可自己对接UL,也可交给第三方检测公司代理。
