Standard for the Flammability (Open Flame) of Mattresses and

Mattress/Foundation Sets

The proposed Federal Standard sets two criteria to limit the growth of fire in a mattress or mattress set. The criteria are:

1. The mattress sets must not exceed a 200 kilowatts (kW) peak heat release rate within the 30 minutes of the test.

1. The total energy released must be no more than 15 megajoules (MJ) for the first 10 minutes of the test. 在测试的最初10分钟内，总热释放量不能超过15兆焦耳(MJ)。

主要观察指标：

1. 明火燃烧时间(Flaming time)   10 分钟
2. 焖烧时间(Progressive smouldering time)  1 个小时
3. 试样的质量损失(Mass loss) 不超过 60g
4. 燃烧期间发生的各种现象(All cases during the test)

可见部分的香烟测试(Cigarette Test For Visible Parts)

1. 引燃火源(Ignition Source)：英国香烟 (Ignition Source 0)
2. 非阻燃聚氨酯海绵(Non Fire-Retardant Polyurethane )
3. 面料(Cover Fabric)

主要观察指标：

1. 明火燃烧时间(Flaming time)
2. 焖烧时间(Progressive Smouldering time) 7、 燃烧期间发生的各种现象(Any cases during the test) 注意：试样需要按照标准BS5651：1989进行水洗程序 Note:    Water-soaking      procedure     was conducted    in according with BS5651: 1989 for sample.

主要观察指标：

1. 明火燃烧时间(Flaming time)
2. 焖烧时间(Progressive Smouldering time)
3. 燃烧期间发生的各种现象(Any cases during the test) 注意：试样需要按照标准BS5651：1989进行水洗程序

非家庭用衬垫家具的座椅抗燃烧测试说明

1. 该测试标准主要包括以下几个部分：

BS1021-1：2006 衬垫家具可燃性评价 燃烧火源：香烟闷烧 BS1021-2：2006 衬垫家具可燃性评价 燃烧火源：相当于火柴的火源

BS5852：2006 通过闷烧和明火燃烧对衬垫家具座椅阻燃性评价的方法

1. 填充材料首先要满足英国家私及家具防火安全条例1988的测试要求；面料在燃烧测试之前需要进行水洗程序（Ref. BS 1021 或

BS 5651）。 3、该测试标准包括四个危险度等级：低度、中度、高度和非常高度危险，根据产品所用场合选择不同的危险度测试。

床垫、长沙发椅、床底架的阻燃测试说明 

1. 该测试标准主要包括以下三个部分：

BS 597-1：1995 香烟的测试

BS 597-2：1995 相当于火柴火源测试

BS 6807：2006  木架火源的测试

1. 填充材料首先要满足英国家私及家具防火安全条例1988的测试要求。
2. 该测试标准包括四个不同危险度等级，分别为低度、中度、高度和非常高度危险，我们根据产品所用的场合，选择该产品需要做哪个等级的危险度测试。例如，家庭用产品适用于低度危险；医院、酒店等公共场所适用于中度危险；监狱适用于高度危险等等。
